Source (if known): Originally an unnamed Irish polka, names Dollar Polka because Sarah Blair, at a 1998 workshop in Montpelier, Vermont, offered anyone a dollar who knew the name. Then obscure and now common in these parts…

Other Tunes in Set:

Region: Ireland

*Notes: The real title of this polka was unknown when Sarah Blair taught it to a group.  She challenged the group to research the title, saying she’d give a dollar to anyone who came up with the correct name.  When no one was able to, it became the Dollar Polka.
